We just had a short eulogy for one of our own. 1st Comm Sqd lost one of our TCD brothers this past Friday. I didn't really know him but that doesn't mean I don't grieve for his loss and for his family. We got more details at the Commander's Call, he was trapped by the wreckage underwater. Quite possibly the worst way to die. I'm sure his last thoughts were of his two boys, ages 5 and 3, and of his wife, another sgt who works on base. I don't think I've ever seen the squadron so quiet for anything else. He's going to be laid to rest in the National Cemetery in Puerto Rico, along the way he'll stop in Virginia for a short service, then to Florida for another with his family. He will be missed by all.
Edit- In some happier news, we had two new additions to the 1CS family by way of the birth of two beautiful and healthy babies to two of our brethren.
